BrownBearz is a registered breeding prefix with the GCCF. We are also proud members of the Southern British Shorthair Cat Club.

The British Short Hair is probably the oldest English breed of cat. They have a very easy going nature and are very smart with it. This is why its quite common to see them on TV and in films.

They have a gorgeous, thick, short, plush coat that has a very luxurious feel to it. They are thick set with shorter legs, a round head and big round eyes. They make wonderful companions.

We are no longer breeding British Shorthair Cats. We would like to wish everyone who helped along the way the very best and we wish any new breeders the best of luck.
